The Real Estate platform is fully integrated and cross-border, representing a broad range of market participants including private equity and investment funds, public and private real estate operating companies, REITs, institutional investors, developers, financial institutions, and alternative lenders. Location	Toronto
Position Description	Our client’s Toronto office is seeking a highly qualified Real Estate Associate with a minimum of three years of experience in sophisticated real estate transactions. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and globally connected practice advising on a full spectrum of matters, including: Joint ventures and large-scale development projects Acquisitions and dispositions of single assets and multi-property portfolios Real estate M&A transactions REIT and related corporate real estate structures Construction, mortgage, and mezzanine financings Structured finance transactions, securitizations, and loan-on-loan financings Associates work collaboratively across offices and disciplines on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions. The role provides significant client exposure and the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes real estate matters from inception through closing. This position offers the opportunity to build a sophisticated real estate practice within a globally recognized platform while working from Toronto.
Qualifications	Minimum three years of experience in complex real estate transactions at a leading law firm Demonstrated experience with joint ventures, development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate financings Experience advising institutional investors, private equity funds, REITs, or financial institutions is strongly preferred Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills Commercial acumen and an understanding of the business of real estate investing Qualified to practice law in Ontario (or eligible for admission) This is a confidential search.
