Our Client	Our client is a large, privately held global manufacturer with complex operations across multiple business functions and regions. The organization is seeking a senior IT executive to lead enterprise applications, ERP strategy, and business systems delivery in support of operational excellence, scalability, and transformation.
Location	Markham (in-office position)
Position Description	The Vice President, IT – Operations & Business Systems will report to the CIO and provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise applications that support functions such as supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, finance, and HR. Key responsibilities include: Leading the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and ongoing optimization of ERP and business application platforms to support current and future business needs. Overseeing enterprise systems, data governance, business applications, and related tools to ensure performance, reliability, security, compliance, and continuous improvement. Partnering with senior business and IT leaders to define future-state capabilities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver scalable technology solutions in a decentralized environment. Building and leading high-performing teams across business solutions, data solutions, development, and user enablement, while fostering accountability, collaboration, and service excellence. Managing budgets, vendors, KPIs, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning related to enterprise applications and operational systems.
Qualifications	The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic leadership, operational execution, and enterprise systems expertise, including: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; a master’s degree and/or MBA is preferred. Significant senior IT leadership experience, including responsibility for ERP platforms, data management, analytics, and business applications in a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Strong experience leading ERP operations, implementations, upgrades, and support, ideally within complex global organizations. Deep understanding of enterprise systems, data architecture, governance, compliance, and business intelligence tools. Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams, manage budgets and vendors, influence stakeholders, and deliver change in dynamic environments. Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills, with a practical, hands-on leadership style.
